Last week, Emily was home for two days with a virus bug. By Friday she was back at school and I needed to run some errands. Scott took a half of day off, so once we were both home we took a quick walk around the neighborhood before the kids arrived home. Brad came home complaining of a headache, we knew he wasn’t feeling good when he went upstairs, put on his PJ bottoms then crawled on the couch and didn’t want to move. He was running a 100.1 degree fever.
Going to bed that night, I figured Brad and I would stay home instead of going to Raymond, which had been our original plan. Scott woke me up at 7:15 a.m. and told me Brad didn’t have a fever and wanted to go with us. We made the decision to all go down there but if he started feeling bad, he would need to rest.
Saturday had a plan of action. To clean out Scott’s Grandmas house! She had lived there over 70 years and recently moved closer to Scott’s Dad and Aunt. There were 5 adults and 3 kids working on it. So much was accomplished and so much more needs to be done. Our plan is to head back down there next weekend for another day of it and then hopefully be prepared for a garage sale the following weekend.

Brad and I will going on a field trip this morning to Fido Farms. I heard we were herding chickens and taking care of baby goats. I will be sure to take some pictures. This is a busy week for me personally and for the blog. I have some great giveaways going live this week and next, so be on the lookout!
Have a great week!

Yay!! Sounds like another awesome and busy weekend! They sure fly by, huh?
Oh girl it was! Busy, busy, busy! I know it’s only the beginning too!
Glad to have you home!
I can’t even imagine how much work it will be to clear that house out completely. You know, you rarely have a laid back weekend!
Oh Liz, you know it! We have our work cut out for us! Can I just say I love seeing your smiling face on my blog!
Busy weekends can be exhausting but oh so much fun! Our next month is filled up every weekend!
Week days are just as busy.
How do our weekends fill up so quickly? I like having more time to just relax…maybe once summer hits!
It soundsl like you had a lot of cleaning out to do. Glad the kids are feeling better.
Me too!
You can tell from Brad’s eyes in the one pic, he isn’t 100 percent. But he did bounce back faster than Emily!
Hope you had a great weekend!
ONLY fish of the season! Well, only fish of the weekend! Way to go.
Wow! Busy weekend, for sure! I bet she really appreciates the help though!
I’m glad the kids are feeling better and hope the adults don’t get sick either!
I’m sure she appreciated the help and hopefully she will make some money on the garage sale
Camping is always fun and it’s nice to be able to hang out with family and go fishing. We might try and do some fishing this summer for the kids.
The field trip sounds like fun and I can’t wait to see what giveaways you have for this week!
