Lemonade For Seattle Children’s Hospital – #MiracleMoms

Can I just say how proud I am of our two kids and their friends.  A couple of weeks ago we had a streak of warm weather.  The kids decided to have a lemonade stand on our corner.  I assumed once the stand was over for the day, they would split the earnings between the 5 of them.

What happened next truly touched my heart.  They had written on their sign that the money made would be donated to Seattle Children’s Hospital.  Our kids knew I was working on the #MiracleMoms campaign for the Children’s Miracle Network and wanted to get involved in their own way.

They made $50 dollars in about 2 hours time, selling lemonade and taking donations.  Their goal is to have another lemonade stand before the campaign is over.  They are trying to raise $100.   Our family worked an estate sale last weekend and put a jar out for donations and raised an additional $16 towards their goal.  They are now only $34 away from that goal!!

I am loving that the families in our neighborhood are raising kids that care.  Amazing!  I am hoping you can give what you can.  If we work together and get 300 readers to donate just $1…we would have $300!!!  Will you be the first one?

DisclosureI am part of the MiracleMoms program and receive compensation for my participation in this program.  All thoughts and opinions reflected in this post are my own.

  1. Aww, how neat of them to do that to help support you! People love to buy things from kids like lemonade and donate when they know it is going to a good cause. I think you should be proud of them and know that you are raising good kids that are willing to help others out :)
