Find Your Fit With Lee Jeans!

Be honest with me.  When you think of trendy jeans for, do you think of Lee Jeans?  If you’re like me, probably not.  I remember wearing them years ago for their comfort.  They were the perfect compliment to my oversized baggy sweatshirts.  Remember that style trend?

Fast forward to 2012!  Lee Jeans ARE trendy!!

Monday, I was invited to an in-home Lee Jeans “Find Your Fit” party hosted by two wonderful NW bloggers, Louise from MomStart and Connie from MiscFinds4u.   We arrived at Louise’s home which had been made into a showcase of Lee Jeans newest styles.

Katy and Rachelle, from Lee Jeans out of Kansas City, were the sweetest!  Both really took the time to get to know us…not just as bloggers.  We talked about travels, fashion trends and finding the perfect fit.  (They were both wearing super cute Lee Jeans…their styles are on my wish list right now!)

Rachelle is Lee’s Trend Expert and spoke with us about what we look, want and need in jeans.  She encouraged us to learn our body figure before going out shopping for them and gave us this handy chart to narrow ours down.

For the next hour and a half, she spent time with each one of us individually and asked us questions to narrow down our style preference.  She took those answers and had us try on several fits until we found the one we loved.

I ended up with a new “Curvy Fit”  jean.  Can you say yoga pant jeans??  They are a medium weight denim but with lots of stretch.  They are as comfortable as wearing a pair of yoga pants.  Comfort, comfort, comfort.  Lee has perfected the amount of stretch so you won’t find them hanging from your hips by the end of the day.  I like a dark denim and prefer a straight cut.   The “Curvy Fit” were the first pair I tried on.  I also tried on one other pair with a little bling on the pocket.  I liked them but it was unanimous the first pair was my “perfect fit!’

Shopping with 9 girlfriends is hard to do, so this was the perfect experience.  We all modeled our jeans and voted on which ones we liked best.  Lee Jeans fits ALL shapes and sizes…we were sized from 2 to 24 and EVERYONE  found their perfect fit by the end.

The Lee Jeans event was a blast!!  It brought be me back to my college days…believe it or not, I have a Fashion Merchandising degree.  Don’t laugh if you know me, it was years ago!

Oh…and remember me telling you Rachelle is a Trend Expert?  The newest trend coming our way…GOLD!   From jewelry to shoes!   I know I just attended this on Monday but I have already been shopping for more Lee Jeans and “gold” flats! :)

Watch out world…Tammy’s gonna be trendy! :)

    I’m glad you found a pair that worked so perfectly for you. I remember the Lee jeans of yesteryear and they were so mom jean’ish. I’m very happy they’ve updated!

    Oh I love how they have all the different shape sizes! I have always had a hard time finding jeans that really fit good. I am going to have to do and try some of these on and see if I can find a good fit one for me!

    Sounds like fun and I agree with your first hesitation but the Jeans are better then years ago . I love a great pair of dark Lee Jeans and a loose button up
