HAPPY SATURDAY!
I usually don’t post on Saturdays but I am actually doing a test. Rumor has it that Feedburner will be making some changes in October. We are being told, we will no longer be able to send our posts via email. Usually I don’t jump on the bandwagon with rumors but I decided to take some necessary precautions.
I have taken all of my email subscribers and added them to my new form of sending out my feed (MailChimp). There will be a whole new look and I am actually excited about it. It looks more like TTC’s than a typical RSS feed email.
Today will be the true test to see how well this works. I am praying I won’t have duplicate emails in your in-boxes by morning. I apologize up front if you do. In fact, there may have been an email that came through today asking you to confirm your email subscription. (You don’t have to do anything with it…I have all the active emails from Feedburner.)

I will…so far it was pretty easy to do and if I ever need to send out an email I have that option too. I like how it looks much more personalized…:)
I do hope those are just rumors about feedburner. I’d hate to have to switch. I heard some moving to Feedblitz but I subscribe to 1-2 blogs using that and don’t like the format. I got your email newsletter this morning
What I have been told is the RSS feed will always be there but the email subscriptions may go away. I need to look into the reader feed also…my next step. Tomorrows email should look better. I had to tweak the header since it was all wrong. Super easy to do and I can help you if you decide to move to MailChimp.

Of course I will help you! It is pretty easy to do and my daily email looks really personalized compared to the RSS emails!
