Friday was my day off so I took advantage of some quiet time along with running my errands. The kids were surprised with us not going out to dinner that night. Scott and I have been a little frustrated with the lack of enthusiasm of where we were going so to avoid it this week, I bought Safeway pizzas and we ate at home. It was nice, so maybe we will alternate between staying home and going out.
Brad’s football game on Saturday was at 1 p.m. which we all were happy about. No early morning grumbling about getting out of bed. My parents came up for his game where we enjoyed great weather and a nail biter game. Afterwards, we visited with them and then went out to dinner before they headed back home.
