Last week was insane with busy-ness (my new word). We had something going every day. Friday was originally suppose to be a day at home catching up, but I ended up at work for a couple of hours. The kids went with me and hung out with Chris’s girls (my new boss and long time family friend). They had a blast playing in one of the classrooms while we put together some paperwork for an upcoming event.
We arrived home just ahead of Scott. Once he was home, we went out to dinner and checked out Goodwill (no treasures this week).
Saturday we worked around the house. Nothing too exciting. My mom and dad are camping at Riffe Lake in Mossyrock so we headed down there for the day on Sunday. It’s a Labor Day tradition to go up one of the days for a BBQ. My aunts were there along with a family friend I hadn’t seen in many, many years. I grew up with her daughters and sons until about 3rd grade when they moved to Olympia. It was fun to visit and catch up. Laura, my childhood best friend, actually lives in Olympia so her mom is going to give her my number for a get together. How fun would that be? I think the last time we were together was Jr. High!
Tomorrow is Monday and we have some garage organizing to do. Filling up the shed and reworking the 3rd car garage. Scott’s parents will be coming up to say hi and drop off a loveseat for us.
Nothing too exciting for us this weekend…maybe that is why there are no pictures!
Oh…and I have a favor to ask of you all. Would you mind voting for me for a Breakfast Challenge? I entered to win an iPad (oh how I want to win one) and need your votes to get it. You can vote daily…the contest is over on September 7, 2012. I would appreciate your votes daily…thanks a bunch!
Click on Breakfast Challenge and it will take you right over for voting!
Have a great week!

Last Day!

Your weekend sounds really nice! And I voted again. I’m not sure it shows up that I voted or not because I don’t share it on my wall (just in case you’re competing with someone else I know). But good luck!
Ah thanks girl! I appreciate your votes…the only blogger I know is Trisha from 24/7 moms. I get it though!
Love ya!
I had a lazy weekend with the kids. Nothing excited at all besides Sat. we headed to my dads for a cookout, 4-wheeling and campfire. Good luck in the contest! I’ll vote again when I’m able, still saying I voted so must not be 24 hours yet.
I think Labor Day is the weekend to slow it down with school around the corner. Your kids looked adorable today!
Thanks for the votes…I appreciate them!
I voted too. These look delicious! We had a quiet weekend here too. A Touch a Truck event was the highlight of our weekend.
Thanks for the vote girl! The Touch a Truck event looked cool. Brad would have been all over that when he was that age.
