Costco Pork Sale – $50 Costco Cash Card Giveaway #PorkParty

Fall is my favorite time of the year.  It goes back to coming home from elementary school and smelling my mom’s dutch oven cooking away with her flavorful roasts!  She knew how to make them so tender too!

Costco can help you make those same memories for your family.  They are celebrating National Pork Month by offering discounts on top pork cuts.  Savings of $2.00 to $2.50 on pork chops, roasts, pork tenderloin and boneless loins.

Beginning on October 8th – 14th you will find the Sirloin Tip Roast at $2.00 off.  These roasts are perfect for the slow cooker.  Place your roast in the slow cooker, let it cook all day, and then enjoy with your family and friends.  These roasts will feed a crowd so don’t forget the Sirloin Tip Roast for your holiday meals.    Think ahead by buying and saving now!

Here is a quick recipe for Vietnamese Spring Rolls made with Slow Cooked Sirloin Tip Roast.  I will be making this recipe soon!

One important note:  The USDA has reduced the temperature guideline for pork loins, chops and roasts from 160 to 145 degrees F, with a three minute rest.  This will yield a juicy flavorful product that may be pinker in color than most home cooks are used to.  Ground pork should be cooked internally to 160 degrees.

Disclosure:  I am working with Costco, The National Pork Board and TheMotherhood on this campaign.  I will be receiving compensation upon completion.
