Mary Kay Lash Perfection Giveaway

With my pampering tendencies, I am all about trying new beauty products.  A few weeks ago I received a beautiful black box wrapped in pink ribbon full of Mary Kay lash products.  I was eager to try the products since I have been devoted to the same mascara since high school.

In no particular order, I tried one of the mascaras for a week.  It was the Lash Love in black.  The product stayed on, didn’t flake or smudge and it dried on my lashes like I need it to do.  (I have sensitive eyes and need it to set dry.)  This is probably my favorite out of the 3 mascaras I was sent.

As I mentioned earlier, I have very sensitive eyes.  I am always wearing waterproof mascara during the summer months with swimming, exercising, sweating and heat.  I would definitely purchase this mascara for all the things it does for me.  No smearing if a tear or two arrives either.

I had never used a lash primer before this review.  What a difference a primer can make.  It plumps up your lashes and preps them for the mascara.  You can also wear the primer alone if you want your lashes to stand out but without color.  I like make up on my eyes so I will always wear it under my mascara.

The last product, I was the most curious about.  My sister has been using a lash and brow building serum and her lashes are full and extremely long.  Trying Mary Kay Lash and Brow Building Serum was the most exciting.  This is not an overnight fix, it will take weeks and months…but I am finding my eye lashes look thicker and am now waiting on the length.  They seem to be longer but they are hard to measure.  I will be using this tube until it’s gone and will be repurchasing if my lashes are noticeably longer.
