Aloha Friday – Sandy, The Storm

Welcome to Aloha Friday! After a week of craziness, it’s nice to have a little downtime like Aloha Friday. On Aloha Friday, each blogger asks a simple question. We link up at An Island Life, visit everyone who links up and answer their simple questions. A super fun way to meet some wonderful bloggers. I have made so many friends just by visiting them every Friday.

My Question for you…

Were you in the path of Hurricane Sandy?

My heart breaks watching all the media on the storm.  I hope your family is safe and sound!

Have a great weekend!

  1. After seeing the destruction on the news, I hate to report that here in the Atlantic Provinces in Canada, Sandy brought us a south wind which raised our temperatures well above seasonal so we ended up having beautiful warm and sunny weather. It did rain a bit but nothing terrible. This was the warmest Halloween I can remember.

  2. We missed it. I am keeping those that were hit in my prayers.

  3. No but my heart also goes out… crazy stuff!!

  4. it’s so sad, my bosses live and work in MA and were close but thankfully nothing. But did you get the winds like we did? Our house was rocking and a rolling Sunday and Monday night.

  5. I have been praying for those affected by the storm all week. Most of my dad’s family are in New Jersey and New York, thankfully they are ok. I hope people watching the news will take away the importance to be prepared for storms. So many people were not prepared and their families are suffering. As couponers we tend to stock up on items. But we also need to think outside the box and stock up on emergency items like candles, batteries, etc. It’s sad to see the small children on tv saying they are cold and hungry.
