If our daughter could…she would chew gum 24/7.  Seriously!  She goes through gum like crazy…and she is passing on this trait to our son.  I ALWAYS insist on sugar free…and Trident has come to my rescue!  They just sent me 12 packs of Trident gum in Spearmint (one of her favorite flavors!)

Pillsbury Baguette Chips – My New Favorite Snack! CLOSED

I am always looking for an alternative to crackers and chips and I need them to be low in calories.   With counting every calorie on a daily basis, I look for something with flavor and crunch.

I was sent 3 bags of the Pillsbury Italian Cheese & Herb and 3 bags of the Cheddar Sun-dried Tomato gourmet snack chips.  The day they arrived I was having some tomato soup.  The Cheddar Sun-dried Tomato chips were a great addition to it.  The kids decided to try the Italian Cheese and Herb first and they devoured the bag in just a couple of snack times.  I added them to their school lunches too.

If I was to pick one over the other, I would choose the Cheddar Sun-Dried Tomato…very tasty and lots of yummy cheese flavor.   The Italian Cheese and Herb are great too…it’s just my personal preference.

Electrolux Sells More Than Appliances – Review and Giveaway – CLOSED

A few weeks ago, I was contacted by Electrolux asking if I would like to review some of their products.  Knowing the brand, I said “yes, of course!”  I browsed the site for a few minutes and found a few cleaning products I was in need of.

I decided to try their ecosential Smart Choice cleaners.  A few months back, I had run out of my smooth cooktop cleaner, so that was first on my list.  I decided to go with the ecosential by Smart Choice Smooth Cooktop Kit since it included the scrub pads as part of the kit.

The other item I tried was the ecosential by Smart Choice Kitchen Surface and Oven Cleaner.   We have tile counters and wanted something that was gentle enough to clean those but cut through the sticky messes that are on my counters daily.

They had several packs of ecosential by Smart Choice Microfiber Cloths.  I use microfiber cloths for everything so I did some stocking up on those too.

On Saturday I decided to do some deep cleaning in the kitchen.  I started with my cooktop on the stove.  You will notice, it was pretty dirty.   I sprayed the Smart Choice Smooth Cooktop cleaner and then wiped to see if it cleaned it immediately.  Nope, it was a cooked on mess.  I decided to spray it a few more times, letting it sit for a few minutes.  It actually took a little elbow grease before the mess was gone.  I think if I was to keep up with it and not let it get so bad, this will work perfectly (without the elbow grease)!  My new goal is to use it every time I use the cooktop.

I also used it on the microwave and it wiped it clean!  It sparkles now!

The microfiber cloths came in handy as I wiped down the counters with the Smart Choice Kitchen Surface and Oven Cleaner.  The Surface cleaner worked great and helped shine up the granite.  The counters felt so smooth after using the cleaner.

As far as the microfiber cloths, they worked great.  I chose a couple of boxes to keep around here.  They make great washcloths and dusting rags.  I even use them in the inside of my car when I am cleaning it.
