IndieFlix Subscription Giveaway – 10 Winners!

Our family loves movies but it tends to get expensive for all of us to go.  By the time we purchase tickets and maybe a few treats we are looking at $60-70.  That’s fine once in awhile but not something we can do very often.

I was excited to be invited to get an IndieFlix subscription and be able to offer 10 of you a 2-month subscription.  Indieflix is a community of fans and independent film makers.  Through Indieflix, you can enjoy all the movies, documentaries and so much more.   Indieflix is giving all filmmakers the chance to have their films shown and watched by all of us.

There are two films I am anxious to watch.  The first one is Finding Kind.  It is a documentary of two best friends (who happen to be the pretty girls) travel the county, speaking with middle and high school girls about their pain and the pain they have caused others.  This is an anti-bullying movie that is suppose to touch us all.  I really want to spend the time watching this movie with Emily.

The other film I would like to see is Living On One Dollar where four college students take along one video camera and $56 dollars.  They spend 56 days in a rural Guatamalan village.  Their inspiration is to show our cultural how to make a difference!  It sounds eye-opening.

Clorox SMART TUBE TECHNOLOGY – 5 Winners! CLOSED

CloroxIt’s that time of year when I start noticing the windows are dirty, floors that could use a deep cleaning, carpets could be shampooed and the bathrooms could use a good scouring.   What surprises me, is how does this happen when I am cleaning once a week?

My mom was a Spring cleaner and she must have rubbed off on me.  Once that sun starts shining, it inspires me to clean the house from top to bottom.

I love using natural cleaners, but there are places in the home where you need to add the bleach and cleaners!  The bathroom and kitchen are at the top of my list.  Now that the kids are taking showers daily, it sure has added to the shower grime.  We have to scrub deep to get that baby clean!  White showers and a family of 4 can wreak havoc on the cleanliness of one.

Thank goodness for the Clorox brand!  These are the products that bring the punch to my cleaning (so I don’t have to use as much elbow grease).  The downside is when I’m at the end of the bottle and I can’t spray the shower door because I only have a small amount sloshing around at the bottom.

I now need to go back and pick up the Clorox Clean Up, Clorox Kitchen and Formula 409.  All products I have been out of for some time but with this new technology, I know I will get to use every single drop!

I think the Egg Salad with Avocado Foldit Flatbread Sandwich was my favorite.  Anything with Avocado makes it better!

I am still enjoying the Hungry Girl Foldit Flatbread I bought.  This weekend I made some chicken salad specifically for my foldit bread.  I haven’t found anything I haven’t liked on the bread.

If our daughter could…she would chew gum 24/7.  Seriously!  She goes through gum like crazy…and she is passing on this trait to our son.  I ALWAYS insist on sugar free…and Trident has come to my rescue!  They just sent me 12 packs of Trident gum in Spearmint (one of her favorite flavors!)

We Love Carmex – Fun Summer Giveaway – CLOSED

My family has become a Carmex family.   I had seen the little jars at the checkout stands but until I met my husband I had never used Carmex.  Scott always has a jar in his coat pocket, especially in the winter.   I had to laugh when his Carmex jar kept coming up missing.  Emily confessed she had needed it so took it out of dad’s pocket!  She would leave it on the counter or end table and next thing I knew, Brad was using it.  (I always have a Carmex stick in my purse…shhh, I’m not sharing!)
