Aloha Friday – Celebrations in the City

This weekend I am going up to Seattle to spend some time with my sister. She travels a lot with her job and we just don’t get to spend as much time together as we would like. Seattle is one of my favorite places to go and I haven’t been up there during the holidays in years. I love how festive everything is…it really feels like Christmas after a visit to Seattle/Bellevue.
My question for you this week is:
Does your town/city decorate or have any fun celebrations you like to attend?

Aloha Friday – It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

This weekend was spent getting our home ready for Christmas. Scott and I were out running errands on Saturday and found the coolest color changing lights. We decided we “needed” them and so purchased a few boxes. Sunday, was spent putting up the Christmas tree only to find that it no longer was a 100% pre-lit. Instead of running out to get a new tree we chose (crazy us) to cut off the lights and just add our own…an hour later all 4 of us finally pulled the last of the lights off. I finished Tuesday with the last of the decorations up! Woohoo!
My question for you this week is:

Aloha Friday – Do You Nap?

I grew up taking an afternoon nap every Sunday after church. We would watch old movies together and usually we all fell asleep. If I was really tired I would actually crawl in my bed and take a good snooze. My husband thinks they are a waste of time so I don’t nap as often as I would like. I usually have to be sick or one of the kids kept me up during the night. My question for you is:
Do you ever take naps just because?
